AVIRON COLD ROAD EMULSION
General
information Cold road
emulsion was specially developed to perform and apply surfaces repair layers
where spray trucks where difficultly applicable. Due to its low viscosity this
emulsion is
highly suitable to be applied
with smaller spray units hand spray equipment.
It is also suitable for road repair
units (RRU) where a selective spraying on specific areas is needed. This Cold road emulsion is extremely suitable due to
its favourable and fast breaking point.
The low
viscosity emulsion requests a application of fine
gravel of 2/6 mm. The required amount of emulsion
is approx 1.4 to
Cold
road emulsion will be delivered in barrels or bulk . As
is required also with other emulsions there are no special safety requirements
needed however it is needed to store the product if frost free environments.

Application Concrete :
first sandblast the surface to remove the
concrete skinlayer ( making it rough)
spray one layer of Aviron
cold road emulsion on the surface ( 1.5 Kg/M²)
Apply +/-10 Kg/M² of broken gravel ( 2-
Spray an additional layer of Aviron cold road emulsion p ( 1.5
Kg/M²)
Apply final layer of broken gravel (2-6mm) +/-10 Kg/M²
Remove lose gravel by brushing it of
Old roofing (
asphalts )
Apply first a fiberglass
reinforced layer and Aviron PP 306DR as intermediate
layer ( 2.5 Kg/M²)

Use crack fill to fill all cracks making
the surface smooth

needed use one layer of Aviron lavatex
