Spray-On Waterproofing
two-component emulsion
AVIRON
Spraycoat 90 is a spray-application bitumen polymer
emulsion, solvent-free
Property profile:
AVIRON Spraycoat 90 is a
highly-safe waterproofing material with excellent product properties.
AVIRON Spraycoat 90 is an
environment- friendly, solvent-free waterproofing material with highly
crack-bridging properties and water-proof within a very short period of time.
Characteristic data of the
product:
Emulsion:
Density at 20°C: approx.
1,0 kg/dm³
Solid content: at
least 58%
Viscosity: approx:
15 sec.
DIN flow-cup 4 mm/20°C
Film-forming properties in
case of 2 component working:
Density: approx.
1,06 g/cm³
Crack-bridging, 4°C: >
Low temperature stability: -
-
Thermal resistance:
Impermeability to water: tight
(DIN 52123)
Resistent towards
all acids and caustic sodas which are normally found in the ground.
Drying
time Depends
on weather conditions. In good drying weather, the drying time is
approx. 24 hours
Range of use:
Used in combination with a clot as sealing on top of
expansion joints and as a complete waterproofing on all mineral substrates.
AVIRON
Spraycoat 90 is used as a sprayed waterproof membrane on new and
repaired roofs and underground constructions; it bonds extremely well to insulation
materials, bituminous coverings and stony sub surfaces with an inclination
till 90°. (Use 2.5 Kg/M² - 7 Kg/M² depending on the condition of the
roof)
Available for temperatures below -30 C° ( PP 305A)
Substrate:
The
surface to be treated must be free of dust, oil and grease. When used on
insulation
panels, do not spray over open joints. The insulation must be given
a
sealing coat. Cracks, blisters and folds should be adequately repaired
before
treatment.
Depending
on the subsurface, a vapour pressure distributing coat may be
applied.
Pretreat slightly dusty or weathered sub surfaces with AVIRON
Primer
(approx. 0.25 kg/m2).
The substrate has to be clean and solid, as well as
free from oil, grease and formwork oils.
Working directions:
Do
not apply AVIRON Spraycoat 90 at temperatures below + 5 °C or during strong wind or rain. (On flat roofs, always apply a
cold tack coat )
Primer:
The area to be treated should be cleaned thoroughly
and defective spots should be repaired. AVIRON Spraycoat
90 is applied full covering with a paint brush, brush or an appropriate
spraying machine. A strongly absorbing substrate requires - if dry - a primer
consisting of AVIRON Spraycoat 90 with approx. 50%
water.
Waterproofing:
The use of AVIRON Spraycoat
90 as a waterproofing measure is only possible in combination with a
2-component spraying machine. The two
components are
mixed by crossing two spraying jets
Tools and cleaning:
Two-component
spraying machine, paint brush, brush, roller.
In fresh
condition the tools may be cleaned with water. Hardened material can be removed
with V 100.
Packaging, application rate
and storing:
Packaging:
Application rate:

protected from
stronger effects of heat.
Safety, ecology, disposal:
Further information concerning safety during
transport, storage and handling as well as for disposal is found in the latest
Safety Data Sheet.
