Aviron Spectrasfalt Microdeck Color Premix

Product description      Aviron Spectrasfalt Microdeck Color premix is a mortar comprising two components. After mixing

these components, an easily processable, colored emulsion-asphalt concrete [Slurry Seal] is

formed which can be applied in a coat of at least 3-mm thick

Composition               Component A is  composed  of a  mixture  of selected  aggregate,  that approximates the final color as closely as possible, fibers, pigment and a few additives that influence the workability.

Component B is the standard Microdeck Color emulsion that can be used for the mechanical

application of a colored Slurry Seal.

            Component C is Portland Cement

Characteristics            Drying time                                           1-3 hours at a temperature of 20 °C

Wear- resistance WTAT [ISSA 100]       <2%[max. 10%]

Adhesive strength concrete                    >0,8 N/mm2

asphalt                                                            >0,4 N/mm2

Application                 As wear-resistant, thin coating in a variety of colours on asphalt and concrete. To be used in building houses and roads as a support or to indicate in colors when

changes are made in road sections, parking lots, boulevards, shopping streets, bicycle lanes etc. In situations where it is not possible to apply the Slurry Seal

mechanically, then the premix mortar can be used effectively

Processing                  Component A and C are added to a cement / concrete mixer. Next, add an adjusted amount of emulsion (component B) to the mortar. You may then add water if necessary to achieve the correct processability. Pour out the mortar and apply evenly with a rubber squeegee in a thin layer of approximately 3-mm. If you wish to make special patterns or use small strokes, you should first tape off the surrounding area. The processing time under normal surrounding temperature is 5 to 10 minutes. In conditions of hot weather an amount of delaying agent may be added to adjust the processing time. If the ground is very dry, it is advisable to dampen it before beginning.

During processing the average daily temperature should be not less than 10 °C

Comments                   The mortar may only be applied in thin layers in dry weather conditions. The surface layer will be ready between 3 and 5 hours following application. Masking tape should be removed as quickly as possible, as it is very difficult to remove once it has been driven over.

Use                                        With a coat thickness of approx. 3-mm: approx. 5 kg/m2.

Color                           Red    (on request Green, Yellow and Blue)

Packaging                  Component A   : 21 kg buckets

Component B    : 4 liter buckets
